In the Austrian Commercial Court on 22 July 1919, Ludwig Tschörner, a professor at a graphics school in Vienna, founded a company with like-minded people under the name ‘Erstes Versuchslaboratorium für Erfindungen Tschörner, Plischke & Co. (First Experimentation Laboratory for Inventions Tschörner, Plischke & Co.). That is when EVVA was born. One year later the company was given the name that would become internationally recognised.
