Xesar 3.4. - More overview, less effort for your community

News | 9. July 2026.
Municipalities today often manage a variety of public institutions - from schools and kindergartens to fire stations or municipal sports facilities. Access authorisations must be adjusted regularly, employees must be managed and security requirements must be complied with. The new multi-tenancy in Xesar 3.4 makes this task much easier.

The new function makes it possible to manage individual facilities independently without the municipality losing control of the entire access system. This means that those responsible on site can take on certain tasks themselves, while the municipal administration continues to keep an overview.

Responsibility where it is needed

A practical example: A school has its own partition administrator. This person can independently assign and revoke access rights for teachers, employees or external persons. Changes can be implemented directly on site - without additional coordination with the municipal administration.

At the same time, the municipality’s system administrator remains responsible for the central administration of the entire Xesar system. It maintains an overview of all facilities, carries out maintenance tasks and ensures the consistent functionality of the system.

Fewer reconciliations, more efficiency

The clear division of responsibilities simplifies administrative processes. Facilities can react faster to changes, while the municipality benefits from reduced coordination effort.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Less coordination effort between municipality and institutions
  • Flexible and secure access controls for different user groups
  • Time savings thanks to decentralised administration of authorisations
  • Cost reduction through more efficient processes
  • Full transparency across all managed facilities

Access management for municipal facilities reimagined

With Xesar 3.4, municipalities receive a solution that takes into account both the requirements of central administration and the needs of individual facilities. Responsibilities can be delegated in a targeted manner without losing security or clarity. This makes modern access management simpler, more efficient and better tailored to the requirements of municipal organisations.
