Raphael has been working at EVVA as Regional Sales Manager, Asia-Pacific, since November 2020.
Where do you come from?
I was born, raised and educated in Vienna, Austria. I have Southeast Asian roots.
What is your professional background?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a Master’s degree in East Asian Business. Prior to joining EVVA, I learned customer service and intercultural competencies from Austrian Airlines, worked in export for a Viennese coffee roaster, and learned different aspects of sales during a 2-year business graduate scheme at a pharmaceutical company.
What is important to you when working with customers?
It is important to be honest, communicative, and supportive. Afterall, when customers think of EVVA they expect reliability and expertise. It is also important to me, that I am welcoming and understanding of my customers’ unique and diverse cultures.
What is your favourite EVVA system and why?
AirKey is my favourite electronic system. Who would not like to save space in their pockets, using their smartphone as a key! MCS is my favourite mechanical system, as its technical features are impossible to duplicate. It’s simply magnetic!
What does security mean to you? When do you feel secure?
To me, security means trust, protection and the freedom from fear and danger. I feel most secure when I spend time with my family, friends and colleagues.
