1995 Tesa
alt text

In the mid-90s, EVVA’s took over sole agency for electronic escutcheons from Tesa. These magnetic stripe cards are particularly widely used in hotels. EVVA helps to facilitate convenience for users with the development of PX24 — contactess key cards replace magnetic stripe cards. This access innovation was very well received by the market and made EVVA one of the pioneers of contactless access. Tesa was later purchased by a competitor. The former Tesa management then established a new company: Salto Systems, which EVVA was involved in.
